- Where is the Camping Wien Süd located in the city?
Camping Wien Süd is in the South of Vienna, close to the Imperial Palace Schönbrunn. The campsite is very well accessible by public transportation and by car. Schedules of the public transportation and city maps are available free of charge at the reception.
- Which public transportation is available directly?
The subway U6, metropolitan railway "S-Bahn", as well as regional busses, which all offer an optimal service around the clock. You can reach the city center by taking the bus directly from the campsite to the subway station U6 "Philadelphiabrücke", and then the tube U6/U3 to the city center. Alternatively you can easily use your bicycle or just walk to the Imperial Palace Schönbrunn.
- How often do the busses go? At what time is the last bus connection to the campsite?
The busses travel every 15 minutes during the day, and every 30 minutes during the evening and weekends – the last bus to the campsite leaves U6 Philadelphiabrücke at around midnight.
- Which tickets can I purchase directly at the Campsite?
24-h ticket and 72-h Vienna Card (ticket for the entire public transportation network in Vienna incl. discounts for museums, etc. 1 child up to 15 years old, per Vienna Card, travels for free). All other tickets can be purchased at the U6 Station Westbahnhof.
- Are there shopping possibilities in the close proximity?
There is hypermarket "Merkur" and discount supermarket "Hofer" right next to the campsite. All other shopping possibilitites are within easy access by public transportation.
- Is there a place to swim nearby?
The closest, and very beautiful, place to swim is the Schönbrunner Bad, which is about 4km from the campsite.
- Do you have a guest kitchen?
Yes, we do have one guest kitchen for free use for our guests.
- Is there internet available for the guests?
No.
- Is there a washing machine at the Campsite?
Yes, there is a washing machine and dryer available for our guests against a small fee.

- What time may I arrive at the Campsite?
You may arrive at the Campsite from 6:00 - 23:00h. The reception opening hours vary during the high –and low season. In case you arrive outside the reception opening hours, please find a place on your own and come to check in the next morning.
- What is the check out time?
Check out time is at 12:00.
- Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards.
