Where is the Camping Wien West located in the city?

Camping Wien West is in the west of Vienna, middle in the green, and well accessible by public transportation and by car. Schedules of the public transportation and city maps are available free of charge at the reception.

Which public transportation is available directly?

The subway U4, metropolitan railway "S-Bahn", train, as well as regional busses, which all offer an optimal service around the clock. You can reach the city center by taking the bus 148 or 152 directly from the campsite to the subway station U4 Hütteldorf, and then the tube U4 to the city center.

How often do the busses go? At what time is the last bus connection to the campsite?

The busses travel every 15 minutes during the day, and every 30 minutes during the evening and weekends – the last bus leaves U4 Hütteldorf at around midnight to the campsite.

Which tickets can I purchase directly at the Campsite?

24-h Ticket and 72-h Vienna Card (Ticket for the entire public transportation network in Vienna incl. Discounts for Museums, etc. 1 Child up to 15 years old, per Vienna Card, travels for free. All other tickets can be purchased at the U4 Station Hütteldorf

Are there shopping possibilities in the close proximity?

Yes. There are supermarkets, drugstores and cloth shopping nearby.

Is there a swimming pool nearby?

Yes, "Waldbad" Penzing.

Do you have a guest kitchen?

Yes, we do have two guest kitchens for free use for our guests.

Is there internet available for the guests?

Yes, we have two internet terminals against a small charge. We also offer Wireless LAN / Wifi free of charge for our guests.

Is there a washing machine at the Campsite?

Yes, there is a washing machine and dryer available for our guests against a small fee.

What time may I arrive at the Campsite?

You may arrive at the Campsite from 6:00 – 23:00h. The reception opening hours vary during the high –and low season. In case you arrive outside the reception opening hours, please find a place on your own and come to check in the next morning.

What is the check out time?

Check out time is at 12:00 for caravans and tents.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards.

Where can I buy Gas?

We recommend the OMV-gas station at the Exit A1 – about 10 minutes drive from the campsite. OMV sells EUROGAS in 5kg and 11kg bottles.

What are the Shop opening hours?

The shop is openend from April through October, in the morning 07:30 – 10:30, and in the evening 18:00 bis 22:00.

How do I reach the "Gerhard Hanappi" Stadion?

The "Gerhard Hanappi Stadion", the home base of the Viennese soccer club "SK Rapid Wien", is only within a 5 car minutes from the campsite.

Bungalows

Which services are included in the overnight stay price?

The bed sheets and all taxes and service charges are included in your stay.

Are towels included in the price?

No. However towels can be rent against a small fee at the reception.

What package choices do I have with the Bungalow accommodation?

Overnight stay is the standard. You can also book the Bungalows with breakfast and/or with half board.

At what time is breakfast and at what time is Check-Out?

Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00AM. The Check-Out time is until 10:00AM.

Until when can the reservation be cancelled?

Reservations can be cancelled free of charge until
4 weeks before for group arrivals and
72 hours before for individual guests

Please, describe the Bungalows shortly?

Each bungalow has 2 bunkbeds (total of 4 beds), 1 table, 4 chairs, 1 small mirror and 2 drawers. A small terrace with a table and chairs allow you to enjoy the cosy summer evenings with some private atmosphere.
